Not all red flags point to the end of a relationship

Welcome back to my playground, my Lexual friends.

In the February 2022 issue of ASN Lifestyle Magazine, you’ll find a featured article from my similarly-titled blog, 14 Red Flags in Relationships. In the article, I talk about unique challenges that each relationship faces, while trying to keep an open perspective of all sides in a relationship.

This topic is so important to me, because while red flags can be an omen for a failed relationship, they can also help to pinpoint issues that, once addressed, can actually salvage the relationship.

All relationships have their own unique challenges. Each partner adds their own personality to the mix, each with their own desires, needs, wants, and insecurities. We bring all of ourselves to our relationships, so when things aren’t going fabulously, it’s impossible not to take it personally.

Of course, the 14 red flags featured on the article are not the only ones you should be on the lookout for, but if you were able to identify any of them in your own relationship, it might be time to analyze your what you want out of your partner(s) — and yourself.
