Welcome back to my playground, my Lexual fiends and friends.
Around this time two years ago, I was in Tucson, Arizona, having the pleasure of partaking in a phenomenal in-person conference centered around consensual non-monogamy and sexuality: Southwest Love Fest!
Last year’s event was cancelled, sadly, after this pandemic made travel impossible for us all, but this year, the organizers pre-emptively moved the conference to a virtual space.
This coming weekend, from Thursday March 25th through Sunday March 28th, 2021, you’ll be able to join in the virtual learning and entertainment when you get your all-access pass / conference ticket to SWLF!
And once you do, you’ll be able to join me as I moderate my a panel about group sex with a few of the top sex educators in the open community!
Group Sex Panel: Consent, Communication and Pleasure
Saturday March 27, 2021
10:45 AM to 12:15 PM PST (1:45 to 3:15 PM EST)
I’ll have the honor of hosting some fabulous sex educators:
Marla Stewart, who is personally one of my favorite sex educators, the co-founder of Sex Down South Conference (another fucking amazing con happening in Atlanta later this year), and a sexologist, sex coach, and educator for Velvet Lips, LLC. She’s also delivering a keynote speech this year at SWLF.
Misha Bonaventura, who, along with William Winters, co-produces Bonobo Network, a community for open folks, and also has her private practice, Clearing Conversations, which focuses on conflict resolution and communication coaching.
William Winters, the founder and co-organizer of Bonobo Network, who is also an advocate for polyamory in the media, appearing in publications like the San Francisco Chronicle and the New York Times.
Join Marla, Misha, William and I for this panel discussion!
Group Sex Panel: Consent, Communication and Pleasure:
Sex can be an intensely pleasurable experience, but it can sometimes get tricky when there are multiple people involved! In this panel, we’ll be discussing how to organize a group play session, including tips for choosing your guests and ways for everyone to break the ice. We’ll talk about safe spaces that can be created (or already exist) for group sex events, and how to talk to your partners beforehand about protection to ensure safer play. We’ll explore how to establish enthusiastic consent with each member of your group, and ways to check in on everyone’s comfort level throughout the experience. This panel will also address how to fix common issues that may arise during group sex, and ways to make sure no one feels awkward post-play.
Get tickets to this weekend’s events, which also includes a variety of incredible workshops from some of the leading educators in consensual non-monogamy and polyamory!
Can’t wait to see you there!
